SunTrust Financial Literacy Program

Financial Literacy is a significant issue in today’s economy. In order to keep up with the current trends in today’s business environments Becky Goessel of the George Dean Johnson, Jr. College of Business and Economics will host a five session “Lunch and Learn” seminar offered to USC Upstate students, faculty, staff and the community.

With more than 20 years of experience, Becky Goessel has a strong background in big four accounting, auditing, financial analysis, month-end closing, financial reporting, corporate budgeting and management reporting. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and Charter Global Management Accountant (CGMA). In addition to teaching at USC Upstate, Goessel remains active in the business community serving on a board of directors as well as promoting financial literacy education.

Event Details

  • Five weekly sessions each Tuesday beginning August 30, 2016 from 12:10  - 12:55 p.m.
  • Each session will be held at The George Dean Johnson, Jr. College of Business and Economics  
    BMW Classroom (Room Number 150) in Downtown Spartanburg at 160 East Saint John Street.
  • Walk your way through your life with the financial edge you want. The Sun Trust  Financial Literacy Series is a five-week “Lunch and Learn” that will walk college students, professionals, community members and anyone who has a question about finance through a variety of topics including:
