Robinson Selected by Akron Racers in NPF Draft
Spartanburg, S.C. – Minutes after belting a two-run home run to tie the game against Presbyterian at 3-3 in the sixth inning, USC Upstate All-American softball player Shellie Robinson was selected by the Akron Racers with the 23rd pick of the 2015 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) Draft Wednesday evening. She is the third Spartan drafted into the NPF in the last four years.
Beasley, Robinson Lift Upstate to Thriller Over Presbyterian
Spartanburg, S.C. – Karla Beasley belted a lead off, walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the seventh to lift USC Upstate to a 4-3 victory over Presbyterian in non-conference softball action Wednesday night at Cyrill Stadium.

Spartanburg, S.C. – Following a midweek matchup against in-state rival College of Charleston, the USC Upstate baseball team returns to conference play Thursday at 6:30 p.m. when the Spartans travel to Fort Myers, Fla., to face Florida Gulf Coast in a three-game series from Swanson Stadium.
