Spartanburg, S.C. – Buoyed by four victories last week, USC Upstate standout pitcher Lexi Shubert moved into a tie for the national lead with 30 wins, while the Spartans are ranked No. 41 in the latest NCAA RPI for softball.
Upstate Signs Three to 2015 Spring Recruiting Class
Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate head women’s basketball coach Tammy George has announced this afternoon the signings of Vanessa Agrusa, DeNisha Swain and Bailey Wensler to National Letters of Intent for the upcoming 2015-16 season.
Greene, Schmiege and Robinson Named Coca-Cola Student-Athletes of the Year at Upstate Coca-Cola Athletics Awards Banquet
Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate Athletic Department held its annual Coca-Cola Athletic Awards Banquet Sunday night and gave out more than 70 awards to celebrate the accomplishments of the department and its student-athletes in 2014-15. Ty Greene (men’s basketball), Marvin Schmiege (men’s soccer) and softball standout Shellie Robinson (softball) received the night’s highest honor in being named the Coca-Cola Student-Athletes of the Year.
