Residence Hall Association
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) gives students a voice in what residents want and need and encourages residents to become actively involved in the residential life community. RHA is a student organization led by residents on the Executive Board who were selected by residents. RHA holds Executive Board nominations each Spring semester for the consecutive school year. RHA is a great opportunity for those interested in being a part of enriching the community through large-scale programs and advocating for residents’ concerns. Other Opportunities to Get Involved with Housing and Residential Life Residence Hall Honor Council (RHHC)
Residence Hall Honor Council (RHHC) reviews incidents of alleged misconduct in the residence halls. Residents who violated the Code of Conduct or a HRL policy may opt to meet with the RHHC depending on the severity of the violation. The RHHC consists of resident volunteers who complete an application and interview process to be selected as a member. Residents serving on the RHHC must live on campus at USC Upstate, be in good behavioral standing with the University and have at least a 2.5 GPA. The exception to the GPA requirement is if the resident is a first semester, first-year student. Students interested joining the Residence Hall Honor Council should click here to apply online.
