Kappa Alpha Psi, a college Fraternity now comprised of functioning Undergraduate and Alumni Chapters on major campuses and in cities throughout the country, is the crystallization of a dream by our respected 10 founders. We were founded on January 5, 1911 on the campus of Indiana University at Bloomington as a social fraternity. One of our core objectives is to unite college men of culture, patriotism, and honor in the bond of a fraternity. Our motto is “Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor” and we continually train for leadership. We currently are operating under the theme of 100 Years and Building, which means we have more work to do as an organization and more leaders to build within the framework of the global world.
The national service program of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is Guide Right. The purpose of this program is to place the training experience and life lessons of successful men at the disposal of youth for educational and occupational guidance, primarily inspirational and informational in character. Nationally, we have partnered with St. Jude Children’s Hospital to help raise funds for their research to save lives.
