Master Plan Development

Using a strategic initiative to face rapidly increasing enrollment, the University identified critical capital development projects valued at $131 million that are indicated in a Conceptual Master Plan. This 10-year plan is being implement to dramatically increase classroom space, academic support facilities, parking and roadways, housing, and athletic/recreational facilities.

The 330-acre campus includes 10 major academic buildings, two on-campus residential housing facilities, the 12-acre Susan Jacobs Arboretum, and The Louis P. Howell Athletic Complex (which includes new facilities for soccer, softball, baseball and tennis, making it one of the Southeast's top sports venues). In addition, a number of beautification initiatives are underway to enhance the physical environment of the campus.
