Latin Fest Flags on Table

Hispanic Awareness Association

The Hispanic Awareness Association seeks to sponsor and foster Hispanic awareness throughout USC Upstate and the Spartanburg community. It provides a supportive environment for Hispanic students by promoting tolerance and multiculturalism. The association volunteers its time to school and service organizations. All students are welcome and encouraged to join!

Past HAA activities include a Latin Fest, celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in September. At Latin Fest, students and faculty may enjoy Hispanic food, Latin music, and Latin dancing of the salsa, merengue, bacchata, and tango.

Contact the Hispanic Awareness Association at 864- 503-5654 for more information.
