Minor in German Studies

Your Ticket to the German-Speaking WorldThe minor in German Studies will require a minimum of 18 hours, with 12 hours of upper division courses: 6 credit hours from SGRM 202 and SGRM 210; 12 credit hours from 300 level German courses.

German-based companies are a driving force in the Upstate and global economy. Companies like BMW, Drexler, and many more are right here in our own backyard, and students with advanced German language skills and cultural knowledge are well-poised to join the management ranks of these companies.
