Computer Science Club
The USC Upstate Computer Science Club invites all interested students to become active members. The club meets at least twice per term to explore career opportunities in computer science and to discuss interesting new areas of the field. The Computer Science Club offers opportunities for leadership development and interaction with others who have similar interests. Our faculty advisor is Ken Pestka, kpestka@uscupstate.edu.
The Computer Science Club welcomes suggestions for new classes and events! Send your ideas to Phillip Blair at blairp@email.uscupstate.edu.

The Computer Science Club held its Second Annual Programming Tournament in spring 2012. Students who have taken Computer Science III were in the Upper-Level bracket; students who have not taken this course were in the Lower-Level bracket.
Congratulations to the winners:

| 3rd | Scott Bailey | (no finisher) |
Honorable mention goes to Jason Lam, a contestant in the Upper-Level bracket.
Thanks to all who participated! We're still trying to get a plaque for the CS Tutoring Lab to display each year's winners; it's taking longer than we anticipated.
