Minor in Religion - Fall 2013 Courses

Why has religion become such an important – and controversial – part of modern life around the world?  What do Americans – who live in the most religiously diverse society on earth – need to know about each other’s religious ideas, values and beliefs? Is it possible to study world religions objectively and impartially?

Explore the Religion minor, which was offered for the first time in fall 2009 by the Department of History, Political Science, Philosophy and American Studies.  Use the Religion minor to enhance your major – whether your focus is in liberal arts, business, education, pre-med, nursing or another discipline.

To become a Religion minor, complete this form and submit it to Dr. David Damrel in Media 132.

Special Fall 2013 classes include:

  • Celtic Religion Through the Ages
  • The Old Testament / Hebrew Bible
