Desiree Rowe has been with the USC Upstate family since fall 2009 as a communication professor. Her courses have included Rhetoric and the American Superhero, a special topics course in Women’s Studies, Senior Seminar in Communications, Public Speaking, Intercultural Communication, and Rhetorical Theory.
Her Bachelor’s degree was obtained at Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ, along with her Master’s degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN, and a PhD at Arizona State University.
“I think my favorite part about USC Upstate," Rowe said, "is the strong sense of community that everyone shares here. It’s welcoming and helps it feel like home.”
