To provide a diverse selection of native plant material and selective ornamentals for the enjoyment and education of the University of South Carolina Upstate students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the surrounding community.
To provide a beautiful landscape with native trees, open vistas and intimate garden settings.
To develop a vision for tomorrow’s visitors and to invest in the environment for future generations.
To provide a map for visitors, to label and to promote the existing and future plant collections.
To provide walkways and waterways for the visitor’s enjoyment and appreciation.
