Distance Education Facilities
USC Upstate has three distance education classrooms on the Spartanburg main campus: Admin 116, HEC 2002, and HEC 2037, two classrooms at the Johnson College of Business and Economics in downtown Spartanburg: JCOBE 160 and 110 (Cisco Telepresence classroom), and two classrooms at the University Center in Greenville : UCG 117 and UCG 125.
All distance education classrooms, with the exception of JCOBE 110, are equipped with H.323 (IP-video) Tandberg codec’s, DVD/VCR combo units, document cameras, instructor PC’s, student and instructors cameras, microphones, data projectors, and projection screens. JCOBE 110 is equipped with a Cisco CTS-1300 Telepresence system.
To schedule Admin 116 please contact Teresa Truesdale at 864-503-5564. You will also need to complete the Distance Education Classroom Request Form for scheduling approval. For scheduling HEC 2002, please contact the School of Education and for scheduling HEC 2037, please contact the School of Nursing.
