Academic Coaching is available to students registered with Disability Services by appointment. Typically, students interested in coaching will be scheduled to meet at least once per week during the semester for about an hour with the assistant director of Disability Services.
Academic coaching is a student-directed rather than a staff-directed exercise. Common topics that students explore via academic coaching include: improving time management skills, examining learning style and determining best study strategies, learning more effective reading practices, organizational management and techniques and etc.
