Tammy Gilliam has over 25 years of experience as a registered nurse and over 11 years as a family nurse practitioner. Her background is emergency medicine and family medicine. She obtained an Associate Degree in Technical Nursing and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina Upstate. She holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina and a post-master’s certificate in primary care from the University of South Carolina. She also earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Gilliam works part-time in Health Services, in addition to being a full-time member of the nursing faculty of the Mary Black School of Nursing.
Tammy has been married to her husband Randall since 1981 and has two daughters, Madison and Caroline . She and her family reside in New Prospect.
