Scott A. Klosterman
Dr. Scott A. Klosterman has served as a supervising clinical preceptor for Health Services since February, 2012. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1995. He enrolled in Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri, graduating in 2001. His residency in Family Medicine was completed in 2004.
Dr. Klosterman has a variety of clinical experiences in emergency medicine, private practice, wound care, and medical education as an assistant professor at both Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, SC. He currently serves as a lecturer and clinical supervisor for first & third year medical student rotations within the Family Medicine Residency Program at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
In addition to his role in Health Services, USC Upstate is proud to have Dr. Klosterman providing care to our student athletes as a team physician in the Department of Athletics. with a special interest in the care of young adults.
