The Department of History, Political Science, Philosophy, American Studies and Religion (HPPA) is delighted to announce the new Pre-Law Minor beginning in fall 2013. Pre-Law is a 22-hour interdisciplinary minor for students who are considering attending law school after graduation. Click here to view the curriculum.
An Intro to Pre-Law course (PLAW 101) will be offered in fall 2013; it is also a required course for the minor. The one-hour course introduces students to various aspects of the legal profession, including different types of law and information about applying to (and paying for) law school. Students will benefit from the expertise of guest speakers -- most of whom are lawyers in the Spartanburg community.
This fall HPPA is offering a special LSAT PREP CLASS that may be of interest to Pre-Law minors. Information about this class may be found here.
