Continuing Education Programs
USC Upstate strives to prepare its students to participate as responsible citizens in a diverse, global and knowledge-based society, to pursue excellence in their chosen careers, and to continue learning throughout life. Through on-site instruction, distance learning, and continuing education, traditional students, working professionals, and interested citizens are served across the region. Approximately 2,000 local citizens participated in USC Upstate Continuing Education programs in 2010-2011.
Programs offered include:
- Continuing education units (CEUs) which meet the continuing education requirements of various, state, national, and profession specific boards
- Certificate programs for individuals to gain more knowledge of their profession, such as the Retail Management Certificate program
- On-line programs, including programs developed by other USC campuses
- Professional and personal enrichment programs (PEP)
