Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is the 6th Greek letter fraternity for men in the NPHC and was founded in 1914 at Howard University. The Gamma Alpha Gamma Chapter was established on the campus of USC Upstate in 2007. The ideals of the fraternity are crystallized into three philosophies which are brotherhood, scholarship, and service. Phi Beta Sigma’s philanthropic platform includes programs under Bigger and Better Business, Social Action, and Education. Every year, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity volunteers its service or partners with various non-profit organizations such as American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, and HIV/AIDS.
