New York Stories
Join Dr. Peter Caster in The Big Apple as students experience first-hand the many stories of New York City. You’ve seen the movies, heard the songs, and know the cultural importance NYC plays within the United States. Now, you may experience it yourself with an experienced program leader who will guide you through much of what the city has to offer.
Highlights Include:
Attending live theatre and music performances
Viewing museum exhibits
Touring notable film locations
Participating in an experimental documentary
Shooting a short film
Students will enroll for 3 credit hours in one of the following:
ENGL U250/350: Selected English Studies Abroad
FILM U398: Special Topics in Film
THEA U398: Topics in Theatre
MUSC U398: Selected Topics in Music
ARTH U352: Art History Field Study
Zero credit hours may be available with consent of program leader.
Pre-requisites:
2.0 GPA
Completion of ENGL U102
