Psychology of Food
What could be better than a week in Barcelona, Spain learning about yourself and the world around you through the lens of food.
Participants will benefit from a rich cultural experience, along with guided tours, group meals, and opportunities to explore local cuisine. Accommodation, local transportation, and health and safety support will be provided by API. The program is designed to offer an immersive look into the relationship between food and culture, while enhancing students’ understanding of food psychology within a global context​.
Students will enroll in PSYC U300 – Psychology of Food (3 credit hours) as an 8 week course during the second half of the spring semester with the travel program happening in May.
Highlights include: Sagrada Familia, the historic Gothic Quarter, tapas food tour, a cooking class, and much more!

Program Fee: $3,830
Fee includes: Scheduled events/tours, housing, most meals, in-country transportation, health & travel insurance, local support from tour provider.
Fee does not include: tuition, some meals, trip delay/cancellation insurance, optional excursions.

Deposit: $500 – January 27, 2025
First Payment: $1,665 – March 1, 2025
Final Payment: $1,665 – March 15, 2025 -
