Psychology of Food

What could be better than a week in Barcelona, Spain learning about yourself and the world around you through the lens of food.

Participants will benefit from a rich cultural experience, along with guided tours, group meals, and opportunities to explore local cuisine. Accommodation, local transportation, and health and safety support will be provided by API. The program is designed to offer an immersive look into the relationship between food and culture, while enhancing students’ understanding of food psychology within a global context.

Students will enroll in PSYC U300 – Psychology of Food (3 credit hours) as an 8 week course during the second half of the spring semester with the travel program happening in May.

Highlights include: Sagrada Familia, the historic Gothic Quarter, tapas food tour, a cooking class, and much more!
