DR. HARRINGTON & MR. MONTEMAYOR

Leadership, Community, and Global Citizenship: Lessons from the Camino de Santiago

Join Dr. Charles Harrington and Mr. John Montemayor on this unique study abroad program that will keep you moving through Spain! Walk one of the world’s most famous pilgrimages, the Camino de Santiago, in northwest Spain which has been used as an ancient path for over a thousand years. Students will not only engage in the physical experience of walking the Camino, but they will engage with local cultures, historic landmarks, and scenic landscapes along the way. The journey provides a perfect blend of academic learning, personal growth, and cultural exploration.

Students will enroll in IDST U401: Topics in Interdisciplinary Studies for the spring semester of 2025 (3 credit hours). The course will taken place during the 2nd half of the spring semester.
