With $5 million already committed, this request advances construction of a 76,000-square-foot expansion that will double the university’s nursing capacity.

Funding will enable the construction of a 135,000-square-foot convocation center that expands the university’s capacity for events, ceremonies and community gatherings.

A facility expansion that will provide advanced classrooms, major-specific labs, prototype spaces, collaboration areas, and faculty offices.

This investment will enable USC Upstate to launch a new major with classroom and student spaces designed to meet rising employer demand and strengthen economic vitality in the region.
