Graduating from USC Upstate with my Bachelors in Business Administration, gave me the foundation I needed for entering the competitive corporate workforce. I now work as a Vendor Business Manager on the HP Inc. team at TD Synnex- the largest tech distributor in the world, and a company that I was introduced to at a career fair on campus. My role as a VBM, requires me to be well-rounded, which is exactly what I was prepped for. Running the numbers after a large inventory buy isn’t so intimidating after taking so many accounting classes, and the same can be said when I’m analyzing market trends and using my finance skills.
Outside of my 9 to 5, I employ my marketing prowess with Greenville Readers’ Hub, a grassroots organization my partner and I founded to foster community and promote literacy. The Upstate has an amazing literary scene, and our goal is to ensure it continues to thrive. We promote and host local authors, giveaway books, and even did a school supplies drive for underprivileged youth in the upstate. Our community was built entirely through online marketing and the skills I learned as a Spartan!
