Chief Justice Donald W. Beatty Center for Justice & Society

Named in honor of South Carolina Chief Justice Donald W. Beatty, the University of South Carolina Upstate’s Center for Justice & Society (The Beatty Center) empowers students seeking careers in law. Part of the College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences, The Beatty Center leverages existing legal and justice-related programs at USC Upstate to elevate students’ academic experiences. It also works with partners within the Greater Spartanburg Community to create opportunities for students and address local issues.
