USC Upstate December Graduation
At the end of each semester, we hold a commencement ceremony to honor students who have recently graduated or will graduate soon. This means they have completed all the requirements of their degree program and are ready to take the next step in their academic or professional journeys. Each degree candidate is recognized by name and congratulated by the dean of their college or school. Our hooding ceremony recognizes our master’s and doctoral students who have completed their graduate coursework.
December Graduation Fair
Get graduation ready and prepare for what’s next at the grad fair. While there, join the Senior Legacy Fund, and connect with offices like Financial Aid and Career Management to complete exit information and plan for life after graduation. You can also pick up your graduation tickets, order your class ring, cap and gown, and mark the moment with professional grad photos. December Graduation Fair will be held on Tuesday, October 27 & Wednesday, Oct 28. The location is the USC Upstate Bookstore between the hours 10am-5pm
The Senior Legacy Fund
The Senior Legacy Fund is a USC Upstate tradition that allows graduating seniors to leave a lasting impact on campus. By contributing a symbolic gift in the amount of your graduation year ($20.26), you support meaningful campus projects and enhance the student experience for future Spartans.
As a thank-you, the USC Upstate Alumni Association will provide an official alumni medallion to all participants.
This medallion, worn proudly during graduation, can be picked up at Grad Fair, in the Advancement Office, or mailed upon request.
