Black Cultural Arts Festival

Making History Photo Exhibit

In celebration of Black History Month, USC Upstate will display a photo exhibit that pays tribute to faculty and staff who are making history in their own ways each day. Through scholarship, acts of service, professional and personal achievements, community involvement, and individual talents, they embody success. We applaud their innovative ideas, commitment to excellence, and the inspiration they provide to our students and the USC Upstate family.

This project is curated by Amy Stevenson, Ph.D. of the College of Education, Human Performance, and Health, and was made possible through the dedication of many, including Terry Manning, who is both a participant in the exhibit and the primary photographer behind the portraits. We hope this exhibit serves as an inspiration to our students, encouraging them to embrace their potential and recognize the impact they can have on the world.
