The University of South Carolina Upstate is proud to partner with the Peace Corps to equip Upstate students to become the best future Peace Corps volunteers they can be. USC Upstate’s mission to “prepare its students to participate as responsible citizens in a diverse, global and knowledge-based society, to pursue excellence in their chosen careers and to continue learning throughout life” is in line with Peace Corps values. Participants can take part in a customizable program in the following areas: Education, Health, Environment, Agriculture, Youth in Development, or Community Economic Development.

USC Upstate students who successfully complete the PC Prep program will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Peace Corps headquarters in Washington, D.C., upon graduation, and a competitive edge when applying for Peace Corps volunteer placement.
