First Step: You must Apply Online to USC Upstate university and pay the $45 application fee. Send all official transcripts to admissions@uscupstate.edu.

You can apply anytime, but we only accept students for the Fall and Spring semesters.

There is not a deadline; but we ask that you have all necessary documents within 2 weeks of the starting semester for which you are applying.

All classes are held 100% online with the exception of clinical hours.

All on-line students receive in-state tuition rates; no matter where they reside.

If you are a full-time student the program usually takes two calendar years to complete.

- CNL (Clinical Nurse Leader)

A completion of an accredited BSN degree and you must have an active, clear, unrestricted RN license.

CNL – 500 clinical hours
Nursing Education – 375 practicum hours
Nursing Leadership – 187 practicum hours*note: all practicum/clinical hours can be completed in your own work/clinical settings, but hours must be earned when not working as an employee.

All MSN graduate students will be assigned an advisor who can help with questions and lift holds.
