Dr. Pamela Steinke serves as Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and SACSCOC Institutional Liaison. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California, Davis and has served in faculty and administrative roles at institutions in Iowa, North Carolina and Illinois before coming to USC Upstate. She was previously Dean of Teaching and Learning Outcomes at University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL where her oversight responsibilities included assessment, faculty development, general education, and online education. Dr. Steinke has extensive experience in accreditation, assessment and high-impact practices and continues to present and publish on assessment of student outcomes.
