New Student Convocation

New Student Convocation is the University’s official welcome for our first-year and transfer students, marking the beginning of their academic careers at USC Upstate. The event features remarks from the Chancellor, Provost, and a keynote speaker, followed by a pinning ceremony led by the President of the Student Government Association.

Downtown Spartanburg

Morgan Madness, the outdoor, interactive basketball event, returns for its third year to downtown Spartanburg. Morgan Square Madness introduces USC Upstate’s men’s and women’s basketball teams and includes activities from music, contests and more. The event is free and open to the public.
