I’m Katie Pletcher, a proud graduate of USC Upstate, Class of 2006, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business. My time at Upstate was more than just academics—it was a season of growth, connection, and discovery. As a member of Delta Zeta, I found a sisterhood that taught me the value of leadership, service, and lifelong friendship. Those experiences helped shape the foundation of who I am today.
After graduation, I began exploring roles in financial services, staffing, and human resources. Over the years, I found my true passion in talent acquisition—connecting people with purpose-driven work and helping organizations grow through great talent. I spent nearly seven years at The Ritedose Corporation, where I advanced from HR roles into Talent Acquisition leadership, gaining deep experience in strategic hiring, project management, and building inclusive teams.
Today, I’m proud to serve as a Talent Acquisition Partner at Milo’s Tea Company, a mission-driven organization that values people, sustainability, and community impact. Being part of a company that leads with heart and purpose has been incredibly rewarding. I love helping others find their place in a culture that’s built on integrity, agility, and collaboration.
Outside of work, life is full and very busy. My husband Jeff and I live in Greer, SC, where we’re raising our two wonderful children—Bentley (8) and Emerson (6). They keep us grounded, inspired, and always on the move! Looking back, USC Upstate gave me more than a degree—it gave me confidence, direction, and a network that continues to support me. I’m grateful for the professors who challenged me, the friends who encouraged me, and the experiences that helped me grow into the professional and person I am today.
