About the Spartan Zen Den
The Spartan Zen Den offers a peaceful space to slow down, center yourself, and nurture your well-being through relaxation and mindfulness practices. Located in the Counseling Services building, this quiet and restorative environment is open to all USC Upstate students, staff, and faculty seeking a moment of calm during their day.
Reservations & Availability
The Zen Den relaxation room is available by appointment only.
To schedule an appointment, use the link below to access the Health Portal. After signing in with your Upstate account and completing a few quick steps, select Spartan Zen Den Relaxation Room to book your appointment. You’ll be asked to sign the Disclosure Agreement Form when scheduling your first appointment.

All USC Upstate students, staff, and faculty utilizing the Spartan Zen Den must review the Relaxation Room Policy and sign the Disclosure Agreement before use.
