Antigone by Sophocles is a timeless Greek tragedy that follows Antigone, a young woman determined to honor her dead brother despite the orders of King Creon. After a civil war leaves her brothers dead on opposite sides of the conflict, Creon declares that one brother shall be buried with honor while the other must remain unburied as punishment for treason. Defying the king’s decree and guided by her sense of moral and religious duty, Antigone chooses to bury her brother, setting off a tragic clash between individual conscience and state authority. As pride and stubbornness drive the conflict, the play explores themes of justice, loyalty, power, and the consequences of refusing to compromise.

Urinetown is a satirical musical comedy set in a dystopian future where a severe water shortage has led to a ban on private toilets. Citizens must pay to use public amenities controlled by the ruthless Urine Good Company, run by the corrupt Caldwell B. Cladwell. When a poor young man named Bobby Strong leads a rebellion against the oppressive system, he inspires the people to fight for freedom and social justice. Filled with clever humor, memorable songs, and unexpected twists, Urinetown parodies musical theatre conventions while exploring themes of corporate greed, environmental responsibility, and political power.
