You can earn your B.S. in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Crime Analysis and prepare to enter the profession with the tools and strategies needed to identify crime patterns and support evidence-based policing decisions.
As a Criminal Justice student, you’ll gain a well-rounded education that builds critical thinking, communication, writing, and analytical skills, while providing comprehensive knowledge of crime, courts, policing, corrections, offenders, and victims. With the Crime Analysis concentration, you’ll further specialize your studies by combining data science with policing knowledge to solve real-world community problems.
This fully online concentration program equips you with practical skills to begin an early career in an in-demand field. Graduates go on to become crime analysts who strengthen public safety and enhance the effectiveness of their agencies.
The concentration curriculum emphasizes working with real crime data, helping you learn how to collect, interpret, and analyze information to improve policing strategies and make a meaningful impact in your community. You’ll also be prepared to sit for the Law Enforcement Analyst Foundational (LEAF) exam through the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA).
