The Office of Student Involvement provides a wide variety of opportunities to get involved in volunteering in the community. Whether you need to complete hours for a student organization or you simply enjoy giving back to your community, there are many ways to get involved through our campus.
Service Opportunities
IMPACT is a student-led community service organization that conducts numerous service projects and fundraisers such as Spartan Day of Service, Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service, Angel Tree, and Service Saturdays. For more information contact, [email protected].

The Office of Leadership and Service works in collaboration with the Office of Service Learning and Community Engagement to ensure synergistic connections to the community and to assist students in identifying service-learning courses. For more information contact, [email protected].
Leadership Opportunities
This non-academic certificate program is designed to equip you with the essential tools for effective leadership. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of their individual leadership and communication styles, thereby enhancing their ability to lead with purpose and intent.
Option 1: Emerging Leaders Certificate Program – 6 hours
- Attend all six 1-hour sessions, offered throughout the semester
Option 2: Emerging Leaders Certificate Seminar – 4 hours
- Attend a one-time 4-hour seminar, offered at the end of each semester
