In addition to the Move Up Guide, you can find the most updated version of the 2026-2027 Residents Handbook below.

Housing and Residential Life

The 2026–2027 Resident Handbook serves as the official guide to living on campus at USC Upstate. It outlines the policies, procedures, rights, responsibilities, and community expectations that help create a safe, respectful, and successful residential experience for all students.

Inside, residents will find important information about housing staff and resources, roommate and community expectations, guest and visitation policies, safety and emergency procedures, room and facility regulations, conduct processes, and housing-related procedures such as room changes, maintenance requests, check-in/check-out, and renters insurance requirements.

Students are encouraged to review the handbook carefully and refer to it throughout the year, as it serves as the primary resource for understanding on-campus living expectations and making the most of their residential experience at USC Upstate.
