- From the drop-down menu, select Upstate
- In the top left corner, select Student Log In

Step 2-Roommate Group Formation
Beginning May 1, students will have the opportunity to create a roommate group. If you have specific individuals you would like to room with who have also applied for housing, you can add them to your group. Only one person from the group needs to initiate the creation of the roommate group.
Students who have completed the housing application will receive an email notification once this option becomes available.
If you do not have a preferred roommate, you will also have the option to log into the Housing Portal at that time to explore potential roommate matches.
Step 3-Select your Room
Students who apply by the below dates will be able to participate in the self-selection* process by choosing their space and meal plans during the times below:
- Apply by April 30-Self-select space May 13-15
- Apply by May 31-Self-select space June 17-19
