The Faculty Manual is the core document governing faculty employment at USC Upstate. It embodies the essential elements of the employment relationship between the faculty and the university. It sets the terms of employment, the manner of selection and appointment, the duties of faculty members, the procedures and standards for tenure and promotion, and the policies and procedures for grievance and termination of employment. It describes faculty organization and the entities through which faculty participate in the governance of the university.
